On May 19, within the framework of the Open Lesson programme of the RA National Assembly the students and lecturers of the Master’s of the Faculty Pedagogy and Sociology of Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University visited the parliament.

Before the meeting the students took a tour in the parliament, observed the works of the NA plenary sitting, got acquainted with the exhibition titled “Even it Up: For the Women’s and Men’s Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities” presented in the foyer adjacent to the Session Hall.

The NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov conducted the open lesson. Welcoming the attendees the NA Deputy Speaker touched upon the generations’ patriotic upbringing, the investment of the inclusive education in the general schools, the decrease of the expenditures in the state administration staff, the problems of the social support to the families of the servicemen, who died as a consequence of military clashes occurred at Karabakh-Azerbaijani border at the beginning of April.

At the end of the visit the students and lecturers had their photo taken with the NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov.
